Tod’s Biennale event
The collaboration between Artefact Mosaic Studio and Tod's at the Venice Biennale has resulted in the creation of a unique art installation that marries traditional mosaic craftsmanship with the modern luxury of Italian fashion. The joint venture conceived a work that integrates innovative design elements, highlighting artisanal excellence and a commitment to the preservation and reinterpretation of ancestral techniques.

To represent the Venetian craftsmanship excellence at the Venice Biennale 2024, Tod's has selected a select and prestigious group of ten artisans. These master craftsmen were chosen for their expertise and ability to embody centuries-old traditions while bringing a contemporary and innovative touch to their creations. Their selection reflects Tod's deep commitment to preserving and promoting Venetian craftsmanship on the international stage.
Bench One
The traditional motifs of ancient Persian carpets, reinterpreted with clean lines and contemporary colors, embody a modernism that skillfully blends cultural heritage and contemporary aesthetics.

Bench one
Traditional rugs, hand-woven with distinctive geometric and floral motifs, reflect the rich cultural heritage and artisanal techniques passed down from generation to generation.
Bagno 7
The design was created for incorporation in bathhouse 7 of Lignano Pineta, a renowned beach town in Friuli. The project was developed during the Mosaic Symposium, an event organized by the Lignano Pineta Company in collaboration with the Lignano Sabbiadoro City. The mosaic was conceptualized by the artist Gianni Borta.
